Our rain water tanks are manufactured from BlueScope® Aquaplate® corrugated steel which has a Warranted minimum life (conditional) of 20 years from date of your water tanks installation. Our special internal bracing system is fully manufactured using stainless steel.
An independent Life Cycle Analysis conducted by The Centre for Sustainable Technology at the University of Newcastle has found that compared to plastic and HDPE (plastic) rain water tanks, Aquaplate® has the lowest embodied energy, Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sulphur Dioxide Emissions. The annual environmental burden of one of our water tanks is equivalent to one 100W light bulb switched on for approximately one week.
